Drew & Nina’s Enemies to Lovers Twist – Bedroom Curveball Shocks Everyone?

Chicago Fire Recap Brett was in a panic at the start of tonight’s episode. She thought she was getting married at the aquarium. The official Shedd Aquarium. She put her faith in Tony and he let her down really badly. He thought a fish store called the Aquarium was the same as the official one. He confused Brett. She’s now getting married at a fish store that sells supplies to the official Aquarium. Brett didn’t know how to break the news to Casey. Luckily, Casey is a great guy. He laughed at them getting married at a fish store. He mainly laughed because he couldn’t see how someone as bright as Brett managed to let Tony talk her into a fish store wedding. Casey’s sense of humor helped put a spin on things. Brett calmed down. She stopped panicking. She put her faith in Violet and Violet swore she made the fish store work. She was going to decorate it until it barely looked like a fish store. Violet took her Maid of Honor duties seriously. Kidd felt it was a shame Severide didn’t do the same with his Best Man duties. Severide called his wife to tell her he’ll miss the wedding. His flight has gotten delayed so many times that it won’t make it in time for the wedding. Kidd broke the news to the happy couple. She also started spiraling when others weren’t looking. She hates Severide working with ATF because he tends to ghost her when he’s away. She had talked to him about it after the last time. He promised this time things will be different. He swore he’d stay in contact, but missing Casey and Brett’s wedding was a big thing and Kidd was going to get angry about it when Severide surprised her. He managed to get on a different flight. He arrived in Chicago on time. And he surprised his wife at Firehouse 51. Severide was back in town. Casey was back in town. The wedding still needed a lot of work because Violet couldn’t do as much as she thought. Violet was appointed the lead paramedic on her ambulance. Only the Paramedic Chief wanted to lecture Violet about her new duties. She didn’t care that Violet was planning a last minute wedding. She also seemed to throw Violet’s relationship with Chief Hawkins back into her face. The poor man’s dad, woman. Let it go. This woman had something to prove and she considered Violet a stain on Hawkins’s legacy.

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is currently taking his hatred of Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) to excessive levels. It’s clear that Drew’s obsessed with getting revenge on Nina, so that’s been an issue in his relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Although Carly and Drew tried to talk things out, something tells us that won’t truly be the end of the matter!

Of course, there’s another issue that could ultimately take center stage since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is on his way back into Carly’s life.

When Carly and Drew first got together, many fans speculated that Carly would drop him like a hot potato the second Jason inevitably returned.

Now it’s time to test that theory since Jason’s return is about to shake things up.

Carly and Drew’s romance indeed seems to be at its breaking point despite their attempts to keep it together.

It may not be long until Carly is falling hard for Jason again instead depending on how things play out in his comeback storyline.

As for Nina, she isn’t having any luck getting through to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when it comes to saving her marriage.

Nina vowed not to give up, but Sonny may give her no choice if he keeps digging his heels in regarding the divorce.

If Drew and Nina both end up single at the same time, is there a chance GH writers could do an “enemies to lovers” trope?

It wouldn’t be the first time two people who hate each other used those intense emotions as fuel in the bedroom.

Plenty of other soap pairings over the years started off with two people who had total disdain for each other.

Sometimes there’s a thin line between love and hate – or at least a thin line between hate and passion!

That doesn’t mean Nina and Drew will kick off some epic romance, but it’d be interesting and rather comical if they landed in bed together.

Drew may be too enraged with Nina to take that step right now, but he might direct some of that rage elsewhere soon enough.

Jason and even Carly could face backlash if she chooses Drew’s twin brother over him.

That could knock Carly off the pedestal Drew’s put her on – and then maybe Nina won’t look so bad!

Perhaps Drew could make some updates to his perspective if Jason swoops in and steals Carly’s heart.
