General Hospital Comings And Goings: A Big Bad Returns, A Newbie Stays, Fan Favorites Leave
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease the latest comings and goings in Port Charles. Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) returns, Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) stays, and Gloria and Carmine Cerullo (Ellen Travolta, George Russo) go back to Bensonhurst.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jack Brennan’s Back
Charles Mesure actually appeared as Brennan several times in the weeks prior to the week of Monday, May 20 but he’ll appear again. This time Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will confront him in his hospital room in General Hospital, after he shanked himself in Pentonville Prison.
She won’t fall for his helpless ploys, not trusting that his self-injury wasn’t just a means to an end-someone on the outside whisking him away in an escape plot.
Anna will tell him she knows that when he appears helpless is when he’s the most dangerous. She knows him well enough to know the sneaky devil’s got something untoward up his sleeve!
GH Spoilers: Gio Stays
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase’s (Amanda Setton) sexy young violinist cousin Gio is staying in Port Charles, Giovanni Mazza having been added to the cast as a contract player.
It looks like he might be giving Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) some competition for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who has just barely warmed up a little to Dex again.
Gio is in the same age group as Josslyn and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) whereas Dex is a bit older, possibly late twenties; closer to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) age.
Rumors are swirling that Gio might be someone who can heal Trina’s broken heart and get her mind off her lost Spencer Cassadine (formerly Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Of course, that might put her in competition with Josslyn her bestie-he’ll appear on May 23 again.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Bensonhurst Bunch Is Going Back
Ellen Travolta and George Russo conclude their time in Port Charles portraying Gloria and Carmine Cerullo, the parents of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and the grandparents of Brook Lynn.
They are now returning to Bensonhurst after attending their granddaughter’s wedding, along with the rest of the Bensonhurst bunch, excluding Gio of course who is staying.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) should be relieved flirtatious Cousin Patty (uncredited) who seems to have a crush on him is returning too.
It also appears that Rena is extending her stay as Lois, considering she was recently helping with product demonstration for Deception Cosmetics. Nothing official has been released about Rena’s status, but she’s already stayed longer than what was first thought, which was through Christmas.
