Nina & Sam Feud Next – Drew’s New Romance Brings Backlash from Scout’s Mom?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers point to our prediction about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) upcoming rivalry. It’s normally Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) who Nina clashes with, but they both claim they’re ready to move on.

Most GH fans are ready to move on from Nina and Carly’s feud as well, but who will Nina go up against next?

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) might be a good option – at least depending on how Nina’s storyline with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) plays out.

Drew and Nina have been using each other for a quid pro quo lately, so that’s led to some sizzling behind closed doors.

If this evolves into a real romance for Nina and Drew, then Sam will surely weigh in at some point.

Drew is the one who committed insider trading, so he certainly bears some responsibility for his time at Pentonville.

That’s especially true since Drew struck a bad deal and worked to prevent Carly from facing her own prison stint.

Even so, Nina reported Drew and Carly’s crime, so she’s taken plenty of heat for her role in putting Drew in the slammer.

Sam may complain about that if Nina and Drew’s hookup situation escalates into an actual romance.

It could leave Sam wondering what the heck Drew is thinking!

There’s also the matter of Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) and whatever bond she might form with Nina moving forward.

If Nina and Drew become a legitimate couple, then he’s surely going to want Scout to try and connect with her.

Nina adored Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) girls and fully embraced her stepmom status – just like she did with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) when she was with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Of course, there’s no guarantee Nina and Drew’s relationship will lead to marriage, but she could become Scout’s stepmother if it does!

That thought may cross Sam’s mind and fuel her concerns, so some faceoffs with Nina could happen eventually.
